From Septic Backup to Front Yard Fix: Driveway-Saving Drain Field Replacement in Flowery Branch, GA

Bulldog Septic recently completed a septic drain field replacement and pump system installation in the Country Walk subdivision in Flowery Branch, GA, after a homeowner experienced sewage backing up inside the house. We opened the septic tank and found it overfull. Using the existing septic system drawing, we located and excavated the drain field lines to check for root blockages. Our inspection revealed that the existing drain field was completely saturated.

With the front yard providing the only available location for a replacement drain field, we installed a new pump tank and 200 feet of new drain field lines. To protect the customer’s driveway, we coordinated with a horizontal directional boring company to install a 3-inch sleeve beneath it. This sleeve carries the 2-inch force main from the new pump tank to the front yard, allowing us to complete the installation while preserving the driveway.
